Yea it hurts, but how long depends on the person. Also having sex a few times after the first can hurt as well.

in my experience, i went through agonizing pain my first time. this can be different with everyone...it depends on if the man you are with is being gentle, and patient enough with you...the man i lost my virginity to was very impatient and actually didn't even ask if it was okay that he go ahead in the first place..i really regret letting that happen..but anyway, a lot of foreplay is key, so i'd say at least 30 mins of him giving you attention will loosen you up and make you naturally lubricated enough to take his penis inside you, but since nothing has been in there before, there will be discomfort no matter what you do. dont let this be discouraging.

well it depends on the person when I had sex with my bf for the first time it hurt ALOT for me, but im very small down there and he has a wide pee pee lol it tooks us like 2 weeks for me to do it without being painful but one day I was masterbating in front of him and all the sudden I broke my hymen within like seconds so that means one of the times that we were trying he almost broke it , if we just would of did it a lil longer my hymen would of broke while we were doin it not when i masterbated you know
