thre are so many diseases today. i think one that affects discomfort along with economic loss in the us (cause i dont know a disease with comfort as a symptom) is eating disorders.
they are rapidly spreading and insurance companies dont cover all expenses for recovery. plus the food sales go down

My guess would be lung cancer. From all the people who buy smokes, even though they have no money to buy food. So they bum of the goverment using welfare and food stamps. And then, after they get cancer from the 20something years of smoking, they decide to sue to tobacco company for all their hospital bills because they're flat broke.
