How far is it from home plate to 2nd base in an MLB sized field and how far is it from 1st base to 3rd base?

Easy! Since all bases are 90ft. apart the angles they create must be 90 degrees, creating a perfect square. The distance from home to 2nd base would be the hypotenuse of a right triangle.
this distance is calculated using the Pythagorian
theorem ( A squared + B squared = C squared )

90ft squared + 90ft squared = C squared (home to 2nd)
8100ft + 8100ft = C squared
16200ft = C squared
C = 127ft. 3.28in.

It's 127 ft and 3 3/8 inches from home to 2nd as well as from 1st to 3rd. (On an MLB sized field.)

using the pythagarean theorem...cant spell that sorry lol. Drawing a vertical line from 2nd to home we can make a triangle. From home to 1st is 90ft and 1st to 2nd is 90 ft.
A^2 + B^2 = C^2. 90 ^2 + 90^2 = 16200 ft. The square root of 16200 is 127.279 ft

The exact distance is 90 feet times the square root of 2. Lucas is right within about 1/32 of an inch.

aboot 120 feet, giver' take, just take one basepath and add about half another one ( 90 ft. + 45 ft.)
