I am doing a project & have to draw Zimbabwe's flag. There is a star on it & I want to make it look as neat as possible (without erasing a whole lot). Any tips would be very helpful.
Thanks & God Bless!

You could just find a star image with a really dark outlne on google images, then print it and draw it by stacking the papers together. Put the star underneath and your drawing on top. If you can't see it put it up against a window or the computer screen. I use my lizard's tank.

Well, most of the star is covered so I wouldn't be too worried about it.
The best idea has been said so far, draw a very very light star and then darken the areas you want darkened.
Also you could start by drawing or printing a really nice star of another sheet of paper. Turn the paper over and fill in the area on the other side of the image with graphite. Lay that over your image and trace the star. It works just like carbon paper.
In fact if you have any carbon paper that would skip the first step : )

draw lightly with a pencil first so you can erase the midle lines then go over the star after you perfected it in a darker color to make any mistakes seem less noticable

first draw it with the lines then trace it over with another paper over it
