when i am older i want to be a fireman but i am not sure what gcse's to take could enyone give me a hand

Besides the science and health classes you should check into volunteering at a local fire station. You can learn a lot of basic things and also get to know people so that when it is time to apply for a position you will have an edge.

Some places have a junior police or junior fireman program. You do ride alongs and help with big events. It gives you experience and again, helps to build a reputation for yourself.

Many Firemen are also certified EMS-s (Emergency Medical Specialists), so you may want to take science and health classes.
