I took my daughters father, my ex of 18 years back to Court for not paying the little child support he was ordered to pay all those years ago, and because they would be 19 for help with college and he said in Court he was on unemployment and admitted to working, not realizing it. He works for a family business, which they redo the books and they are sitting there at the Country Club and made me and my twin daughters suffer all these years by not paying but $350 a month, plus insurance, which never was paid. The Judge saw through him and ordered him to pay to them, in an account for college, which he hasn't, he filed bankrupcy, and said he made minimum wage, now, this isn't even me not getting the money for the kids, he's doing this to his own kids. I called and cussed him out the other day, being sick with fever, and he taped me and now, we are going this week to court again, for him to get out of paying yet again, and they have all the money, do u think the Judge will c the truth?

If the judge doesn't see the truth, your daughters will. How sad that their own father doesn't want to help them. I think his punishment should be not being able to be a part of their lives....his loss. Yes, they are the ones with all the money, but probably aren't near as happy and content as you and your daughters are. Instead of relying on him for money for their college, maybe you can apply for student loans, or grants. They are now at an age where they can also pitch in on their education. Rely on yourselves, because you obviously can't rely on him. Keep on keeping on, you've done a wonderful job so far......you and ONLY YOU deserve a lot of credit and you should be very proud of yourself. Your daughters have seen the truth, and will respect you more for what you've done for them, and will not have the same respect for their father. Good luck to you hun, and take care.

If you live in a state that is a ‘one-party consent’ state he CAN tape the phone conversation without your knowledge and/or consent and it is NOT illegal. A ‘one-party consent’ state only requires the consent of ONE party—which would be HIS consent. If you live in a ‘two-party consent’ state then he would have to have your consent in order to tape the call.

I don’t know what you said during the call, but if it was just a case of you cussing at him for not paying, while it wouldn’t make you look great, it probably isn’t going to hurt your case either.

Good luck.

The judge will know that you were frustrated and that should not do anything bad on your part. As for him not paying, the judge will get him. Just sit back and watch.

You cussing him out does not matter now, you are not fighting for custody, PLUS that is illegal, wiretapping requires a court order, and he is not part of Homeland Security, so, lets see how that works for him. Don't worry about it. F@#K him!!!

He can't record you without you knowing it. If you didn't know you were being recorded they judge won't listen to it. Plus it's easy to see what a jerk this guy is. Good luck.

Hopefully the judge will see the truth..
Bring all the evidence possible to court with you...
"hearsay" & your opinion are not evidence...
