Are you in favor or against school uniforms, and why?

Very much in favour of uniforms.

They bring each kid to the same level w.r.t. class. No girls wearing the latest fashions while others struggle to get by with hand-me-downs etc. Also, as a past student, I felt it was much easier to get ready for school as there was no deciding what to wear each day.

Furthermore, I think uniforms provide a measure of security, as students from different schools can be more easily identified and, in situations where you have non-students entering school grounds, the lack of a uniform also makes them easier to i.d.

this is a very hard question to answer but im in favor in both

Kids like to express themselves in there own way. they want to dress on how they want to look and stuff. mostly dress in style so they get more attetion..

but.. the again some kids might be put down on the way they look and dress so uniforms would be a better selection so know one will be discriminated. but uniforms are expensive and mostly cant afford it so what is gonna happen when a kid has to go to school but cant afford a uniform?

This is a very hard question to answer but i think they should leave kids the way they are let them change... and then enventually theyll all favor for the uniforms but i serioulsy i really doubt it. instead of us getting the chance of us to change
we should let THEM change see how it goes so we should just leave them alone for awhile see how it goes :)

no kid that cant afford the lastest trend will b looked down on since every1s wearing the same.

not in favor :
u cant express urself and who wants 2 look exactly like every1 else?..bleh

im really not in favor, but sumtimes wen i c ultra rich kids wearin designer clothes 2 skool then i feel left out and feel like we need uniforms

because its convenient and nobody will be judged of their appearance or taste in clothes. i mean isnt that why there are different cliques in school?
against.
clothes give people a voice. they can express themselves and show everyone what kind of person they are. and some uniforms are just ugly

In my school uniform is gray jacket. it isn't very nice, but now i can't imagine us without it. of course there are pupils who ignore it.
those who want those express themselves and with uniforms.
I'm for uniforms. now when I'm in 12 class, i will have one more sentiment about school.

Both. In favor for you don't waste valuable time picking what to wear. Yet us students don't get to show our interests or expression.
