Can Mom stay with me ?
Will it hurt ? What will happen ?

Usually your mom can stay with you, yes. Blood tests are usually very simple; the doctor or nurse draws a little blood, then they run it through a lab. That's all; it shouldn't hurt any more than a shot.

Im 34 weeks pregnant and i have had to go for LOTS of blood tests. lol.
Its simple. All they do is put a rubber band around your arm, they stick a needle in and put a tube on the end of the needle to collect your blood. Then they take the needle out and you have to put pressure on it. then you get a really stickey band-aid that hurts more to take off then the needle did. lol.
Your mom can stay with you if you want her to.

All you'll feel is a little prick in the arm when the needle pokes your skin. Yes your mom can stay with you. They take a cotton swab, put some alcohol on it, swab the place where they plan on drawing blood, slide the needle in, draw the blood, pull the needle out, put a piece of gauze on, and put some tape on the gauze to hold it in place.

U sure u talking about blood test right ? ... then don't u worry at all ... it just feels like a pinch and they will take very small amount of blood, about quarter of a test tube ... its not that painful and not that big a thing to be worried about ...n yeah your mom can stay with u ... just relax ! ... and good luck !

Yes your mom can stay with you. Yes getting stuck with a needle will hurt. (not to badly) The usual procedure is a tourniquet is applied , a needle is inserted into your vein a vacutainer is attached to the needle and multiple vials of blood can be taken with only one stick.

They are just going to draw a small amount of blood from you. Yes, your mother can stay with you. It will feel like a slight bee sting, just like any other shot you may of received. Good Luck, it won't be so bad. Just turn away and it will be over before you know it!

It only hurts for a second, trust me i have had them done a ton of times. It hurts when the needle goes in and thats it... PROMISE. and yes your mother can be in there when they do it. dont get scared when you see how much blood they take, your body makes a ton... and dont look at it when they are doing it or before they do it... dont look at the needle because it will scare you. look at your mom and talk to her... talking makes you think about something else so you dont think about whats going on. dont be scared, if you ever have a baby, you will have to get them alot... its no big deal...

i ahd the same problem 2 wweeks ago.your mom can stay and it really shouldnt be as bad as your thinking the worst part it getting a vain and sticking the needle through its just like a shot exept they hold the neddle and wait for the .good luck

my mom stayed with me when i got a blood test....... it doesnt really hurt...... just close ur eyes...... dont look st the needle..... that will freak u out.......
