Last night, I was laying in bed, and i rolled over to get my glasses off of the bedside table. When I did so, I felt a HORRIBLE sharp pain in my right ovary area. It went away and I was fine but scared to death! Everything is well now, but I just want to know if this has happened to anybody else (pregnant or not) and what it could have possibly been. I have no bleeding or cramping now whatsoever.

Sounds very much like round ligament pain.
However- you are also very early in your pregnancy. Right about now is the time you would be ovulating again. Sometimes, womens bodies (I know mine always did)- are so programmed that they can feel ovulation pangs, even though they are not ovulating.
Over the next few weeks, you may even feel like you are going to start your period, it's a very common feeling and sometimes confuses women who do not yet know they are pregnant, or learn they are newly pregnant.

Anytime- ever- in pregnancy that you feel cause for alarm, the safest bet is to always alert your OB/Midwive/On-call nurse.
I can tell you, that I have felt that pain you are speaking of with every pregnancy. It felt almost like my muscle was ripping, and sometimes like even being stabbed very quickly, then the pang passing.

Best of luck, and congrats on your new pregnancy!!!

I had those as well. For me, I get that pain with gas sometimes. Since I've been having a lot of that. Like everyone else said it may be your ligaments stretching. I suggest you go see a doctor anyway because that is also a sign of a tubular pregnancy. So if you are worried just go get it checked out.

its normal. i had the same thing this time. Its your muscles & ligaments stretching. I freaked out the first couple times it happened because i had a previous miscarrige. If it puts you at ease talk 2 your dr about it. Hope you feel better sweetie

When in doubt call your OB.

It is probably a ligament stretching, but it could be something else, so definitely call the doctor's office.

Every pregnancy is different. Don't rely on other womens pregnancy experiences. If this is worrying you so much you should go see a doctor.

Try not to worry, perhaps it was just like "growing pains", I used to get really uncomfortable sometimes. Call NHS direct to be safe.
