It used to work for me, but then I became immune or something. And yes it's normal for it to burn, it's drying the pimple out and should clear all that nasty puss out. No one agrees on whether food affects your complexion, but we know that drinking lots of water helps, and so does eating fruit (apparently).

Stay away from oily foods and chocolate when trying to clear up your skin. Some products that work better than toothpaste are Blemish control acne treatment gel and clear.now. You can find both of these at sblandino.qhealthbeauty.com

Um, well, I never used toothpaste, because it always made my zits worse. I use tea tree oil, which sound crazy I know(puttin oil on a zit), but works miracles. IT smells kinda funny when you first get it, but after a bit you learn to love it. Get those cotton swabs(or balls, whatever) and hold it on top of bottle of tea tree oil and shake the bottle up, so some gets on ball. Dampen(SLIGHTLY!) the ball and run all over your face. You face will tingle gently, and wait a bit and your zits will go away, or at least shrink in size and redness. You can get tea tree oil at a health food store, a health store, or the health section at your supermarket. Good Luck!
