I think not, because the function is more important than the look, is it not. I would recommend using them, and starting the trend all over again. Just wear them and watch how often you will see others doing likewise. Do you wear panties for function or style? Same principle. Don't let 'the accepted fashion' deter you from being comfortable

Yes they are worn in the summer. I like the look of leggings with 2 pair of socks. Any top to match the socks.

if you're trying to wear leggings in the summer it's best to wear them at night/evening to give off a little bit more elegence and sophistication.

I see people still wearing them with skirts. If you like them, it shouldn't matter if they are in style or not.

in the summer it gets hotter, so it might feel uncomfortable to wear them. they look good w/mini skirts, shorts.
