Here is an article I found to be very misleading and slanted in more ways than. It is titled "The Sad Truth Is That All Terrorists Are Muslim".

Find parts where it is misleading and explain. Thanks

The title makes the tone of the article obvious. It is a blatently false statement that is intended to arouse prejudice against Muslims.

Specifically--what about the Oklahoma City bombing (Terry McVey)--or the unibomber. Japan has had instances of terrorism-none of them Muslim.

And if you broaden the scope of "terrorism" just a bit--the "ethnic cleansing" in the Balkens was perpetrated by "Christians" on Muslims. The Tamil sepratists in Sri Lanka are Hindu.

As for the rest of the article--no offense, but I don't inteand to waste my time wading through someone's mental sewer.

I don't believe all terrorists are Muslim but that's better than saying all Muslims are terrorists, the sad truth is that the vast majority of fanatical people that are involved in terrorism and violence are creating carnage and hate from a belief that their religion calls for it, I would have thought that any religion was about living your life in a decent way and following the path of peace and accept the fact that not everyone shares the same beliefs.
I personally do not believe in any religion or any God but I am perfectly happy for others to worship as they wish, I as an ordinary person live an ordinary life and wish no harm or disrespect to anyone and I really don't think that I or my friends or family should be threatened or harmed by any kind of terrorism Just because I do not share the same beliefs. There have been a number of hatemongers in the UK over the last few years that live here on benifits paid for by my taxes using the UK health service, their children educated in British schools, housed in British houses and enjoy a pretty good standard of life and yet they spend most of their time criticising the very people that give them this way of life, they vilify my country in a way that would not be tolerated in the countries that they origonally come from.
All I can add is that we are all just people, most are not politicaly minded, and just want to live our lives in peace,we cannot control what World leaders do or cause to be done, live and let live thats the answer.
Chris.
