I am planning to take a major in economics for my future in politics, what majors in economics can help me?

I would also like to know what could help you prepare for this major and any website of reference would be great.

It depends on what you want to do in politics. Its all abour connections anyway. International Economics would be a good idea. Also, learn a vital foreign language (ie. Arabic, Korean, Farsi, Russian, Chinese etc.)

Political Science with a minor in Economics may prove more beneficial.
