okay, i got my cellphone taken away at school for a week right? my parents are starting to question where it is. i tell them its in my locker at school (which it isnt)
does this sound good??::: ill tell them that a faculty member found out that my locker was defective (which it actually is, it opens when i pound it + pull on the tab) and that they have to take away my cellphone until friday as punishment.
does this sound like a good excuse? have any better ones? thanx

i wouldnt believe you would have your phone taken away because they found your locker was defective, if i was your parent i would go speak to the school. Say the locker is defective and you cant open it but the school is working on it or something like that, good luck

Why can't you just tell your parents the truth? Can't you have a cell phone at school, even if you aren't using it? If a teach took it away for a week, then just tell your parents what happened and don't take it to school any more. Rules are rules. You have to obey them as children and as adults. And if you decide not to, you have to face your consequences.

StickIt, be a man and tell the truth. The truth shall set you free and you'll gain their respect. Explain the situation to your dad and have him go to your school and take possession of your property. It is a tangled web we weave when we deceive the ones we want to trust and believe in us.

No. Be honest. Always. And your property can be kept by the school. If you don't tell your parents the school faculty will.
