Whether or not she pays taxes isn't a matter of concern for you. The IRS will not discuss another taxpayer's return with the public.

Rest assured however that anyone with such a high profile does pay whatever taxes are due. It's one thing to hide under the radar; it's quite another to get away from your due when you are a high-profile individual.

It is a concern for the public when a so called pastor doesn't pay taxes and flees the Christian community. A lot of foolish people out there. Some churches are down right businesses, as hers is and cheat our government. NOT RIGHT.

Hello Mr. Ringading (name well-chosen, based upon your misplaced allowance of freedom of 'speech')
What right do you have to vent, only for this purpose (whatever your purpose really is. If it's for attention, here it is ...) I see you've just joined (3/11/07). Why bother, if you're going to waste space this way.
I'm sure we'd all like to know where you get your inside info. I'm sure that you're in no position (any more than anyone else) to judge. If you do, please keep such comments to yourself. You also have no grounds to back up what you've 'said.'
I don't mean to sound mean, but people who are mean, deserve to 'hear' mean responses.
The person that we see on television ... Why don't you just let it go at that? I wish I had the time to retort every printed attempt to malign Pastor Scott. She doesn't deserve it ... or, better yet, know those people's past (for which they've repented) and keeping dragging them over the coals for it, over and over and over. I will continue my quest to defend Pastor Scott, whenever the opportunity presents itself, in a positive way to share info. on the net ... Shirley

Why are you presuming that she doesn't pay taxes? I doubt that her personal tax return is public record. I agree with Bostonian-it's highly unlikely that someone who is high profile would get away with too much. Look at that knucklehead winner of "Survivor" that thought he could get away with not reporting his winnings from the show. He sure didn't get too far too fast, did he?
