I play guitar, or write songs or lyrics or poems. Or I just go to sleep or take a shower or listen to music.

I like to go to my "Happy Place." It's a little bar over on 5th...
No, that ot right. I don't get mad I get even...
No. that not right either. First of all I don't get "Mad". I may get "upset" or even a little "angry" but never "mad". Dogs get mad.
What I do when I am upset/angry, I go to my rec room, rack up the pool balls and play pool for 30-minutes or so while I'm listening to some good ol' Southern Rock - Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Bros., The Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels, etc.
Unless it's totally - totally serious (and I don't mean boyfriend scoping out other chicks kinda problems) remember, life is too short. Don't sweat the small stuff.
Been there - done that.

I have finally reached a level of maturity where I can expend my efforts in a positive manner.
2 weeks ago I was very frustrated about something over which I have no control. I went out and took a vigorous walk.
The next day, the same problem started annoying me. I got on my exercise bike, and rode for 30 min. The problem was still there, but I felt good about myself because I handled it with maturity.

I have to get away from the situation and most importantly the person that made me angry. I go out and drive around the city or try and go to sleep. That way I cool off.

I slam the door, scream in rage, beat my pillow, and I swear so much it makes George Carlin's standup comedy sound clean.

I get unangry by listening to my mp3 and I'll blame the government and I'll throw rocks at this tree and damage and it and lose energy eventually and calm down.

This is stupid, but I try not to act like I'm mad. Talk about heart attack potential. But if that doesn't work, then I'm like the first answer.

Scream and yell, and sometimes throw things. Your basic tantrum!
