I think that the word outrageous is overused to the point that people have forgotten the meaning of it. It means upsetting or offensive. The media uses it to describe celebrities' revealing outfits or wild parties. Can't they think of more appropriate words?

Also, I think the expression "I'm not of fan of..." is overused. Why don't people simply say "I don't like" or "I don't care for"?
