I have a router in my brothers room. I am running a ethernet cord from my room into his so I can have internet access. Is there something I can get for my computer so I do not have to run the cord.

You can set up an ad hoc network, which means that you will need to buy wireless cards for your pc and your brothers. Or buy a wireless router and if you have a laptop you will be able to use it throughout your house. Here is info on ad hoc networks:

Because it's powered by wireless zero configuration, you won't need to run a single cable or hunt for an electrical outlet! Add Internet Connection Sharing on the host computer and all connected computers will be surfing the net wirelessly in no time at all.
We'll start with a single computer that already has a wired Ethernet broadband connection to the Internet. Then we'll build the ad hoc wireless network in three steps:

The first step will be to install an 802.11b wireless card in the main computer and configure it as a computer-to-computer (ad hoc) wireless connection.
2.
The second step will be to install a wireless card in a second computer.
3.

Well I dont think you can do that... The only way to have no cord is 2 have Wirless.... And since you dont wont that... :/ You should just take the cord and run it next to the wall... or if you are alowed just run it threw the walls ( what my freind did ) You pritty much need a Wirless Router if you dont wont a wire... Hope this works for you!

I can't think of another choice besides wire, or wireless.
Just get a wireless router. I was going to run a cable a while ago when I realized that cable was so expensive it was actually cheaper to go wireless.
