My jaw pops?

It doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes when I try to open my mouth it kinda locks up so I can't open all the way. When I lay down it completely locks up. When it first started it hurt but now it doesn't. What's wrong?

Probably TMJ. See a dentist.

See a TMJ specialist, and dont open your mouth to the point where it pops especially if your having pain.

sound like TMJ my husband has this and had to see a dentist to be corrected. Nothing else is going to work. Good luck
