Maybe their scared that the PC brigade will complain that the producers are being racist if they portray non whites as "villians,halfwits and lazy gits"
However the other side of the coin is that by not portraying non whites as "villians, halfwits and lazy gits" they are inadvertantly being racist towards the caucasian population
Or maybe Eastenders is just a fictional TV show and we shouldnt take it all to seriously?!

Don't you think that honest hardworking blacks and Hispanics are sick of being seen as the criminals and feel the same way you do now. I'm sure you believe that everyone who is white is perfectly innocent and wouldn't hurt a fly. You come to my town and white people do drugs(crack and weed), steal, lie, drag race, drink and drive but they are rarely ever caught or it is not blown out of proportion. Anyone can be lazy. Also notice how on the news they only show white people who are missing, mostly white women. It's just going with that old Southern U.S. mentality that white women and children need to be protected from the big scary black men. When the Europeans were colonizing the whole world they were the rapists, thieves, murderers. Every race has low lives and has done their fair share of crime.

i've got seen a good number of intense maintainance b*tches wearing non- end white and pastels - they are making the element that they are able to arise with the money for the dry - cleansing provider on a daily basis, and us grubby little peasants can positioned on our denim and synthetics that stay to tell the tale in the weekly wash ! comparable with their ridiculously costly upload-ons that they use two times then deliver to the gown companies, and the manicures that ought to render all house household projects impossible without Marigolds - bloody rotten teach - offs !

Because this country is great at 'doing the right thing', and trying to protect everybody. But what the soaps and who ever has the right to show these soaps is that they don't seem to look around them. More than 75% of this country is made of black, Indians, Bosnians, polish, ect and the list goes on!
Its all stupid politics, and gets me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after all we pay the taxes for these people to come into our country!!!!! how are we lazy and half witted?

Because the people that write it are a bunch of halfwits. It really is the biggest pile of crap ever put on the screens. Real cockneys, don't say "shut up you tart", or "JJJJANNNNEEEEENNEEEE". Or call everyone "slag".
