Ya i have a few times. It was all with my baby niece. She was about three/four weeks old at the time. The first time was when she woke up suddenly. She was bawling her eyes out so i lid next to her. I think she had a bad dream because she used to sleep all through the night even when she was a few days.

when my son had RSV as a baby I layed next to him inside the big metal crib they had at the hospital,I could not hold him because of the attachments but I snuggled close and we both cried till he slept and I watched over him...That was a hard time luckily he pulled through

I guess not. Sometimes my girls cry when they have to go to bed, but if I laid next to them they would stop.

Yep, my daughter when she had ear ache, nothing like the physical pain of hearing your young child crying because they are hurt.
