No, they don't.
In fact, I know a very nice couple in my neighborhood that have been married for about 10 years. The woman has an IQ of around 60 and the man's IQ is around 70. IQ, however, does not measure how the physical body reacts to basic biological urges nor does it curtail the need for love. They have the same desires and needs as everyone else.

i'm so sorry yet why do human beings tihnk that being a virgin is a bad element???? i don't get that for the existence of me! If a guy is a virgin apparently he's gay, if a female's a virgin of direction she's a prude!!! What the **** is misguided with society!!!! Dude, you're actually not hurting every physique, consisting of your self! Are you asleep? For starters observe this site. If the mentally ill stayed Virgins there would be very few participants. Oh yes, I would certainly be eliminated. However so would the accusers.

No. I work in a mental health institution and we get a lot of MRs who have been married and have children. I don't know if their partner was MR also.
By the way, just because a person is MR doesn't mean that their basic need to reproduce is gone. Eating, surviving, and reproducing are inate characteristics that all animals have, even Homo sapiens.

my mate worked at an institution, and he said that the woman had to be put on contraception because they had less inhibition that other people.
they also had to lock the cupboards and fridges because of the food eaters who would not stop eating things like butter.
seems that that group of people have a limited sense of 'moderation', sex is included in that.

no - mentally retarded ppl are like everyone else...they have relationships, they get married, have children...some have more sex than others...the real difference (as far as sex is concerned) is that they are easier targets for rapists and molesters...
