spreading fertalizer or Lime, what to charge...?

I do odd job's, what should I charge for spreading Lime, or fertalizer, should I charge per square foot or by the job or what?

that depends on how big the yard is and who buys the material if you have to buy the material allways add at least 8% to the bill that will cover your exspenses picking up the supplies (gas) their is not to much brain work involved so roughly say $10.00 to $15.00 hr
