you have to scratch off the grey strip on the back of the points card, go to Wii shopping, then redeem points and then enter the number on the back of the points card..
so far, nintendo's virtual console channel has 62 games as i'm typing this.. more will be added starting march 12, 2007..
the total amount of points to have in order to download the entire library is 41,300 points and that's around 21 Wii points cards which costs $460 dollars total
also here's a website link for ya to decide on which classic games that ya might want to get with your Wii points card.. ya might want to bookmark because the list changes from time to time..

how do you get a wii points card? get it at like walmart or target or some other store to put them on it's on the wii main screen you have to redeem them

you can also purchase points through the console via credit card. they are actually cheaper that way since the tax is already included. 20 bucks for 2000 points is what it works out too.
