I ate about a pound of raw potatos once, so that I wouldn't have to go to school the next day and take a really hard test.
It worked. But I'd never do it again, the test was not nearly as nasty as the consequences of eating raw potatos.

Yes...everytime I get ahold of a bag of cashews, I eat too many and then I'm sick to my stomach. I continue to do this even though I know that it will make me nauseous. For me, it's kind of like the Lay's potato chip jingle, "No one can eat just one..."

Quite a few times when I had indulged too much, I've stuck my finger down my throat to get all the booze out. It doesn't sound pretty, but you sure feel loads better afterwards.
