Your best friend is a person in your life that you know you can trust. It is not the person that gives you the most attention, it is not the person that you like to be around the most. Your best friend is someone that you can tell anything to. Usually your best friend will be someone you've known for a long time, like a couple of years. If you are not sure who your best friend is, then think about the person who you think is the most important to you. But, you don't have to have a single best friend. Sometimes its better if you have a few people who you really trust who can relate with each other and with you.

Friendship isn't always easily described. The Eskimos, they say, have a hundred different words for snow. Unfortunately, the English language isn't quite as innovative, though it has vast opportunities to differentiate meaning. Certainly, Love is one of those opportunities. And so, too, is Friendship.

Instead of different words, however, we're stuck with simple adjectives. Close friend. Best friend. Childhood friend. Intimate friend. Trusted friend. Beloved friend. But whether you use adjectives or different words, few could deny the nearly infinite meaning in such a simple word.

Friends are special people. We can't pick our family, and we're sorely limited in the number of them at any rate. Society and mores (and often our own conscience) dictate we select a single mate. But our friends can be as diverse and infinite as the adjectives we choose. Our friends, in a very real sense, reflect the choices we make in life

your best friend is someone who's always there for you, especially when you need them. You can tell them anything and they can tell you anything. You would be there for them when they needed you no matter what. They would know you well enough that they wouldn't be mean when you're having a bad day. they would know if something was wrong, even if you didn't show it. you would be able to do the same for them

Best friends are those who will stay by your side when you are in trouble. You can only tell who your best friends are when you came through some difficulties together and they have stayed no matter what you chose to do with your life

It is the person who you can tel ANYTHING too. They do not ask for anything in return when you need a favor. They will be there for you when you need to tlak to someone. They will be willing to stand by your side through the good and bad. THey will not talk crap about you behind your back. they will defend you when someone else is accusing you of something. Its your other half, in a sense. Its the one person that will understand what you have to say.

your best friend you can count on... no matter what. Your best friend will always be there. Not just there to be goofy and silly with but when you need a shoulder to cry on. They will accept your flaws and love you for them. And they will be loyal, no talking behind your back or flirting with you guy/girl.

The whole "best fried" thing is a bunch of crap. all it does is makes the rest of your firends who arent your "best friend" feel like they arent worthy and make them feel like crap. i think you should just have friendS not a best friend. perhaps a group of best friendS may be better but i just feel that its cruel to your other friends for you to call someone your best friend.
