My first wife cheated. result? Well, I've remarried, and we've been married nearly 15 years. The ex? Still alone and single. Happily, two of her playmates have died, one of whom was my brother. Her Dad passed a year ago, and he hadn't spoken to his daughter, since our divorce. Her sister had family over after the funeral, and my ex wasn't invited to attend. She's paid a high price for cheating. I only wish it was higher.

My wife and I talked about it one night and we both understood that if either of us were to cheat are marriage would be over sometimes in life there are no second chances so you better make the best of your first. 3 yrs later we got the chance to see what happens when a friend of my wife's got caught and she paid a very heavy price. The biggest problem is cheaters never fully realize the consequences until it's to late. Her friend pretty much lost everything and I think if anyone were to ask her if it was worth it she probably would say no.

Absolutely NOT and I never would. I love my husband way too much to even consider being with another man. As soon as you start thinking about it, you should have a nice long talk with your spouse because something is seriously wrong with the relationship.

Yes, he has. Why? Our marriage was going to h*ll in a hand basket and i think he was trying to find a way out. He got caught, and we are trying fix the broken pieces. The affair ended in Aug of 06, so we are still working very hard at fixing things. So far so good.

Yes he cheated only once, got into a lot of porn and stuff - wan't ready for commitment. I forgave him and after a lot of work and many many tears, we have a wonderful marriage again. (Though he knows that if he ever does this again, there will be no 3rd chance). Cheating causes such devastation, and it saddens me to see how much it happens.

Not to my knowledge and this would probably happen if I am out of the country without seeing him for 15yrs and the ending result would be in any case I would kill him as the ending result!

Physically no.

He has had phone sex and cyber sex with lots of women (I consider cheating). I forgave him.

He is currently having an 'emotional affair'. Forgiven? no

Why? I am not sure. (He says he still loves me)

Result: We are getting divorced.

Yes, I forgave him and we've moved on. It takes more courage to survive the difficult times then to just walk away. It was tough, but we are rebuilding our marriage and it's better than ever. Won't happen again..

all the time, but if you really love someone you can forgive them and move on! Or even if need be you can start all over again with the same person and try to correct the problem
