What do you look for in a college?

I'm making a college prep course and I was wondering what different ppl look for in colleges and universities. I was thinking on the line of classes, food, atmosphere, crime and anything else u can think of. Thx.

I look at cost, average SAT scores (to see if I'll have academically similar peers), if they have housing, their student body diversity, clubs, ranking.

Cost, programs offered, # of students, on campus housing options, athletics (for those who plan to play sports), location (is it a safe area, is it near a big city with lots to do)
