I'm trying to create/make some kind of wall rack for my sunglasses in my bedroom. I always have somewhere between 5-10 pairs.

I'm thinking of using a grid similar to this but without the caddy shelves

OR
something like this:

Let me know if you prefer one over the other and why, or if you have a different suggestion I'd love to hear it.

If you know a place to get something more useful or cheaper please inform me!

Thanks!!!!!

I have an idea that might help. For my Daughter, I had a hanging "cloth pocket" for her special toys. I made it out of cloth that was just the right color for her. I got the idea from those small cataloges that we sometimes get in the mail. The back part is one big piece of cloth with two loops at the top for hanging from hooks. The front Pockets are small pieces of cloth sewn on to the back cloth make a small pockets for her things. Hers happens to be hanging on the back of her door. I know you could pick your favorite color and make this as small or big as you like it. I have seen smaller ones sold in catalogs. This might be a fun way to make sure you glasses don't get scratched, because the soft material won't hurt the lens of your glasses, and if you want to travel all you have to do is roll them up and pack them along.

Go here: http://www.ctswholesalesunglasses.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1437 for some fun and stylish sunglass racks. This is a company that sells sunglass racks wholesale. These particular versions are cheap, $25 - $35. We've used them in some of the retail stores I've built out and stocked. For sunglasses you want something that looks good, is easy to use, won't let the glasses fall off easily, and keeps them from getting scratched.

Good Luck!

I think they both suck, Sorry. How about a wood cabinet with cubby holes, or even a lucite cubby. Or a wood board with slots to fit the ear pieces so you can see what each pair looks like. I don't know if anybody makes such a thing but making one yourself would not be hard and would be inexpensive.

Sorry, trying to help, but all I saw was a pic of a girl with a dog in a basket.

I like the one for the belt and ties better because it looks neater. But keep looking. There has to be something out there that will work better for you.

I would like to help you but all I could see is Dorothy and Toto. Good luck anyway.
