That's a rather broad question because Americans are like people anywhere else. There are some who hate certain nationalities and others that don't. Just because a few Americans may hate Russians, doesn't mean that we all do.

Now, I have to admit, when I was a child, I didn't particularly like Russians because I was scared of them. My father was in the Navy, my family lived on a military base and my friends and I were constantly being told by adults that the Russians may nuke us at any minute and that they may kill our fathers while they're out at sea. To children, that's a pretty valid reason not to like an entire group of people!

Of course, I now know that was pretty much cold war propaganda and that Russians are just like people anywhere else. I can't speak for all Americans, but I have no grudge against Russians and I really feel dumb for ever having one to begin with.

I do not hate or dislike any people as a group. However, I dislike Putin and what he is doing to Russia. Russia had a little glimpse at democracy, free markets & personal freedom after the old Soviet Union fell apart because of its own lies, brutality & the obvious wrongness of communism as a philosophy & political system. Now the ex-KGB man Putin is returning the country to a repressive, authoritarian slave state. If I were a Russian still in Russia, I'd be doing whatever I could to get out.

it the same question do russians hate americans, or even better do frenchys hate americans? People like to sum a country up saying I hate russians, when maybe they just hate their government. Or why people say I hate germans, because they think germans are still nazis, when in germany many are embarassed about what happened wit hitler. Frankly, I don't trust the russian government, just like I dont trust my own goverment, the russians got bombs, just like we have bombs, Im just nervous we are going to go into war with each other. I don't not like russians, in fact Im writing a script who the main character is a middle aged russian. Just a lot of americans still don't like communism (which I think is hypocritically of democracy, shouldn't everyone have the freedom to believe what they want?). I htink everyone is just nervous we're going to have to go into a war if russia decides to use there bombs. I dont wish war for anyone, and I can say I do love russians... i mean with exception, just like ever type of person has exceptions

I live in Branson, Misssouri. Yakov Smirnov has his own theater here. They love him.

My son plays chess. His heros are Garry Kasparov, Alexander Grischuk, and David Bronstein.

I love Pisnyi Borsch, Vareniky, Kulich, and Pirozhki. I got these recipes from the wives of men who worked for my husband.

No, Americans do not hate Russian people.

That doesn't make sense. You probably meant to ask, "Do Americans hate russian people?"

The answer is NO.

No. The Cold War prejudices are gone. Now Americans hate Arabs and hispanic immigrants, but not all of coarse. I'd love to have a pool boy named Pedro who has dark tan, hairless skin that glistens in the sun as he lays by the pool.....Uhh, never mind.

I don't know any Russian people personally, and I can't hate what I don't know, so no I don't hate Russian people.

Like anyone else, certain people hate other people. I don't think Americans are any different than anyone else. As a whole-No.
