i personally don't know y i am alive, but what keeps me going is the goal of getting bigger than life and getting revenge on those who have hurt me :)

ok so maybe the revenge part is an extreme, but still i have the urge to get revenge, not that i'll do it, but i will keep getting bigger then life

I guess I have to agree with Einstein on that one: we don't know why we are here, and all we do know is that we are here only for a short time.
I also guess I don't really care why. I'm glad I'm here, and I enjoy making connections with other people. What keeps me going is that after 61 years here, I find that somehow things that happen do start to make sense after a while, and so I believe there is a logic and a reason to it all. I have always believed in a good God, althought I don't pretend to have any proof of that.
If you feel a need to get revenge, I guess that's what you're supposed to do--at least right now. Sometimes I look at the evil things that go on and think that somebody has to even the score. I've just never felt it was me.
Your question is an interesting one. I will be interested to see somse of the other answers.

You are absolutely crazy. Get a grip on yourself and start thinking. So is revenge "bigger" then life? What is revenge a part of? Feeling hurt. If you feel hurt you must live, as something which is not alive cannot feel hurt. So this hurt is part of live. To revenge hurt instilled by others means that this others had an effect on you and that also they must be alive as if they were dead and not there, they would not had an effect.
As you are logically proven alive, you might then also posess the ability to decide? To do something good with your life or to concentrate on your revenge and hurt other alive people back. But boy I can tell you this will not make you "bigger" then life, but it will make you to a slave of your own perceived limitation. It will make you so small, whereas you can be so big if you could "see" that as you are alive you have choices over choices.
Just saw you are only 16. You are allowed to still be crazy.

A question that I ask to myself everyday. I always thought that life is sort of like chess, there are pawns (people who are here to fill space, who have no future and are part of the background). And then there are rooks and knights (people who are here to save others, to protect and to be something significant). The bishop, people between the knight and the king (the bad people). And then there are leaders (king and queen).
I, honestly, don't know why I am here. I'm young and I want to have a meaningful reason to live. I don't want to be a pawn. I guess no one wants to. And everyone has this inner strugle about who they are and why they are here. Okay that's my answer, I am here to find out why I am here. (If you understood that.)
