Hey, Hunk..., Do you Remember the OLD saying. Prostitution is the OLDEST profession.

Legalising has a few genuine advantages. Govt. gets Licence Fee. Hopefully the pros will be checked, medically, periodically as per statutes and have treatments less spread of STD [ Sexually Transmitted Diseases]

Legalisation alone does not solve the problem. There should be an effective implementation machinary to enforce the law. The law should demarcate separate areas in each town/city to house prostitutes and they should be subjected to periodical medical chekups. Exploitation of the customers in the form of unfair trade practice should be checked and such acts may be brought under the purview of consumer protection act

This will work in a highly civilised place with better law and order. In India, this will become just a fantastic opportunity to legalise all illegal and sexual violence. Nightmare.

In the first place if you know prostitution is bad why you want it to be legalised. Its natural there are different types of people in our country.Even today when flesh trade has gone so much in its happening, there are rapes and ill treatment and harassment on women.so let this world have its own place.Be silent.......................men are wicked.

Prostitution is prevailing for centuries in almost all villages, towns & cities of India. Curtailing wives' right of divorce & remarriage of widows is also responsible. Hindus offer & dedicate their daughters for marriage with dieties & temples, to fulfill their promise on success in their desire, to be enjoyed by all. It was always encouraged by people and was never punished.

All unwed premarital, extramarital physical sexual relations are not good, resulting in dissatisfied marital lives, AIDS / STD, and births of bastards/ illegitimates. Such sexual relations put spouses in search for more betters, and destroy joyful marital lives usually resulting in divorces. High % of divorces and children of broken families are threat to the peaceful world.

All unwed sexual activities (pre/post/extra marital), homosexual acts, & other perverted sexual acts are specifically forbidden in Islam in clearly written unambiguous words. In Islam, unwed voluntary sexual intercourse also is a great sin punishable continuously in hell & heinous crime against government/society punishable with publicly lashing/ death by pelting stones.
