6x³ + 21x² + 15x

3x(2x² + 7x + 5)

Find the sum of of the middle term

multiply 2 times 5 = 10 and factor

2 x 5 = 10

factors of 10 = 1, 2, 5, 10

2 and 5 satisfy the sum of the middle term

3x(2x² + 7x + 5

3x(2x² + 2x + 5x + 5)

3x[2x(x + 1) + 5(x + 1)]

3x(2x + 5)(x + 1)
