i have a toshiba M50-159 laptop which didnt come with SD CARD SLOT for putting in sd cards etc. Do you know if i can still have one put into my laptop because it does have space for it to fit into. Or where can i go to install the sd card slot and how much does it cost.

Why not get a card reader to plug into the usb port, I got one for less than £10.

the space that you're talking about is probably the pcmcia card slot and no you cannot install an sd card reader internally into the laptop. Just buy an external media card reader.

Is the SD card for a camera, if it is can you not use a USB cable to download your images straight to the computer. This saves wear and tear on your SD card keep removing it from the camera. Hope this helps.

you can buy external sd card slots at most electronics stores! not that expensive i don't think!

Even if you could, it would be cheaper and quicker to buy an external card reader to plug into your usb.

get a multi card reader and connect it to a usb port.
