i'm a dancer (10 years of ballet) and my legs look really bad in dresses and skirts becuase they're so "muscular" (as people say). any thoughts on making them look thiner?

Try wearing spandex underneath your dresses and skirts. If it's a shorter skirt, dark-colored leggings can give the illusion that a persons legs are smaller.

Heels, as the others said, but also a flared skirt might do the trick. Just have to shop around and see whats looks good.

there is really no way to make your legs look thinner. The only way is by losing a couple of pounds. My best bet is start by eating healthy. Incorporate a lot of fruits, vegetables and protien into your diet. Also, exercise-which are you getting from ballet.

wear dark skinny jeans. they make your leg look longer, and dark colors are slimming on everyone.

for dressing up, i'd go for skinny black dress pants, or the same in bermuda shorts for the summer. i have a pair of balck bermuda shorts with white pintstripes- double the slimming effect- score! =)

wearing a cute pair of platforms really helps, but if you need more you can get a professional spray on tan-they have certain techniques where they can make it slightly darker on the sides of your legs [and waist] which creates the effect of them looking slimmer.

well if u want to have thinner legs and not just look like u have thinnner legs thin do yoga i been doing that for awhile and its great streghtens and makes your legs look great with out ameking them muscular...know if u want them to look good...and thinner.....then wear black or......tanning makes any legs look better!
