Yes, it's the most leading cause. I miscarried before I had my first, and now that I think about it, it was probably because of stress. I was very stressed about being pregnant, and labor, and I guess I ruined it for myself. But now I have two beautiful daughters, and expecting my third, so I'm still very lucky.

yes, but you can't blame it all directly on stress. my doctor told me that most women that miscarry because of "stress" miscarry because in all the stress they do not eat and drink correctly- therefore robbing their baby of important nutrients.

i have been through a great deal of constant stress and i am at 27 weeks with a healthy baby boy.... (i was VERY worried about the stress on my baby- but the doctor said he should be okay)

STRESS really can cause miscarriages, a series of studies suggests. The good news is that extra doses of progesterone might safeguard the pregnancies of women at risk.

While the cause of most miscarriages is never established, doctors usually attribute them either to abnormalities in the fetus or to illness or health problems in the mother. Most obstetricians dismiss the idea that healthy women can lose healthy babies solely because of stress.

But a series of studies by a team in Germany might change their minds. "We can clearly say that stress has a major impact on pregnancy maintenance

please try and relax hun good luck

Yes it is possible...but not the only cause of miscarriage.

Some people can have a lot of stress and not misscarry, while others will.

There can be many reasons for miscarriage and often the cause is not known. Though it is believed that generally it is nature's way of saying the baby had a defect and wouldn't have survived anyway.

Oh yes. Stress is one of the leading causes I think. Although a lot of miscarriages are caused by mother nature. I know that sounds weird but when a baby is conceived, if your body doesn't feel it will be adequate it discards it. Sounds cruel, but it is kind of a survival of the fittest type thing. But stress is a major contributor. Sorry : (
