how much weight do I need to lose? I think around 9-10 pounds.

i have the whole height thing figured out, but i need a precise weight. i realize 5'6 for a model is short but their is always exceptions.

im from the middle east but have a lighter complexion and a very different looking face, is different bad/good in the modeling industry

you dont need to lose any weight! you are a perfect weight! and anyways, models need to have a thin layer of fat, because (as long as its not bumpy or whatever) on camera, having some fat over your muscles looks better.

Well they dont worry about weight as much as measurements...i model for Elite and soon to be switching agencies to IMG...I weigh 102 and i am considered almost bigger than most models so i know they are strict but you cant just wake up and say i want to model...i was discovered by someone that worked for Elite and now i have been on the cover of Vogue and have worked for Victoria's Secret so good luck to you but it is a cut throat industry

Its not about how much weight you need to lose. Typically a model is 5'7" or taller. 5'7" is actually short for a model. You may have trouble because of your height.

Depends on what you're doing. For runway, forget it. You're too short and too fat. For commercial, they got everything from Jane Does to plus size models, so you could be fine. Think about what you want to do, then worry about your body.

your a little bit short for modeling so if you could get down to 105 or lower it might work
