This is a 3.5L, what happened was i was driving along and the battery light lit, the the check engine light lit, eventually my headlights started dimming, dash lights went dim, then eventually everything went dark, made it home, figured i try replacing the altenator since it seemed like the car was running just off the battery, changed the alt and checked the codes (codes listed above), Am i able to drive it around and get the battery charged up or should i just put it on a charger, dont want to be stranded, or is there something else wrong other then the altenator i should check out?? plz help. thx

You may want to go to your local automotive store and purch ase a manual that deals with the codes and step by step repairs.Chilton Manuals are great for this.It may be a little costly, but well worth it for future repairs.You may also need specialty tools and electrical knowledge

If Battery will not take a charge you should replace it.Check voltage at the battery with engine running.Should be 12.5-15.5 volts .Clear codes by disconnecting the battery cable for 5 minutes.
