bought 360 today lasted 30 mins then red lights now broken anyone else had this problem

Make sure the rectangle shaped cord is plugged in all the way. That's the only time I have seen red lights and it was because I didn't have it plugged in all the way.

It's the most commonly know problem out there. If you get the red lights try this first.
Pressing the sync button and eject button at the same time will reveal an error code via the number of red lights lit up.
1 red light = 1
2 red lights = 2
3 red lights = 3
4 red lights = 0
If the error code you get is not listed anywhere on the internet then you will have to send the console back. I had this happen 3 times. 2 times in which the console died. Now I have it back and it works great.
I got 3-0-1-0-2 just in case you were wondering.
