I put, E.) Bacilli. But that was wrong, which one is correct, and why?

I am pretty sure E. coli is D) cocci

Spirochetes: are worm-like, and are spiral shaped
cocci: are shaped like little spheres
spirilla: are shaped like wavy worms
vibrios: are shaped like boomerangs

The answer is NONE OF THE ABOVE. E. coli are descrbed as BACILLUS, or shaped like rods, or as you put it, sausages.

.... That was wrong??? Oh well, then its probably spirilla or vibrios.
