My little girl also has a hard time sleeping when she's teething. The only thing that I've found that seems to help her is this: I put a tiny little bit of night-time baby orajel on her gums and give her a dose of Motrin, which lasts about 6 hours. It usually helps her sleep at least a 4 or 5 hour stretch at night.
My little girl is 6 1/2 months old and already has 2 teeth, plus she has 4 more that just cut through!!

Do not give your child Benadryl or any cough/cold medicine, unless your doctor advises you to. They can be very dangerous even when you follow the directions. What worked for my son was Baby Motrin (he didnt like the orajel) and occassionally putting him to bed with a small bottle of cold water.

My little trick to this was a warm bottle, a little cereal, and then some motrin right before bed. Baby Motrin and Tylenol
help with teething pains. This should help with that, and allow baby and mommy and daddy to rest peaceful. You may also try a little baby ambesol as well before bed. Good luck..... I sincerely hope this will help.

Rub some bonjella on her gums before bedtime, it will numb them. Also if you are still having a bit of trouble settling her give her some baby panadol, but only use it as a last resort and don't use more than the recommended dose.

depending on the age of the child you could use infants Tylenol or baby orajel. Also lettin her chew on a cold washcloth before bedtime will help numb the gums a little bit :)

Well if you dip your finger in rum and rub it on their gums it will make it feel better for them. It won't get them drunk at all. Some people feel very strongly against this, but there really is nothing wrong with it at all.
