It's an ancient form of racism within one race. I think it stinks.

it is the ancient system , which devide the people according to there birth in family, so persone gets specified to make a relation with his/her caste of family.
it is gud in some cases - as if one caste have desease in there gene so , it will not get distributed to other caste of people.
but this system now taken the worst thing like a politics. u can see now a days, politician use these caste system to gather the vote in his favour. except that many rules in indian which supressing the intellingent people to raise , as u can see in sc/st caste of persone gets the higher postion without any gud qualification.
now it is made a curse for our society,

yes it stinks. after even 50 yrs of our independence we couldn't get rid of it. only right education can make this miracle happen.
