Garfield was one of the worst Presidents!!! Very corrupt administration.
Roosevelt was the most loved.

My question to you and I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything but why do you feel that Garfield is "our" most beloved president? Why I'm asking is because he's not mine. Abe Lincoln is what I considered the most "beloved" president of his time. But to each his own opinion right? The second president in my opinion would be JFK. Not particularly because of his ideals because some of his ideals weren't all that great but I guess because he was popular with alot of Americans and everyone loved Jackie. So I would say JFK.

I am not sure what facts you are basing this on. Garfield probably one of the least known of our presidents. Presidents like FDR, Lincoln, Washington, Kennedy are alot higher on most loved in terms of a vote of the people today.
