Do you think the Kentucky Wildcats will make the NCAA tournament this year? The field will be announced in a few hours. Will Tubby Smith have a job with UK next year?

UK will most likely make the NCAA tournament this year. They are not as bad as everyone is making them out to be in thier ignorance. They have had some devestating losses and some very close ones coming within 3 of beating top seeded Florida. They have had a tough schedule. UK is coached by a man who has Tournament experience above average. The pressure that Coach Tubby Smith and UK face is hard to compare with other programs, UK is the winningest program in NCAA Hoops History and the most storied program of all the NCAA. They have to get recruits if they want to make another Championship run... the next will be thier 8th NCAA Title. By the way, UNC wont win!

I think yes on both counts. They did tie for the second in the tough SEC East in the regular season. I also don't think Kentucky has a better option right now than Tubby Smith. Keep your eye on Travis Ford of UMass in the near future however.

They should have offered Rick Pitino anything he wanted so he had never left and failed miserably with the Boston Celtics, or they should have got him back when he was done in the NBA. Look what Pitino has done in Louisville now!

They don't get good because they don't recruit good players like the other schools do.
