Hi everybody i have a four burner electric stove top & on one of them there r really tough dark rust like stains which have blackened around the burner n on the rim of the burner over time.. i have used a product from the market named, Fantastik.. but there is not much use for stain which have been rusted over time.. it cleans only the new stains well... I would like to know what shall i do to clear these stains and make it look like new.. r there any other products which u can suggest..?

Well I use clorox wipes, but I clean my house every other day so I don't have any stains like that. Try Mr. Clean erasers.

try jif - ud have to scrub a lil - but be careful in using products like clorox on painted surfaces - try a lil on a corner first.

use heavy solutions used usually for car cleaning etc cant remember the name - but a spray n leave solution - check out ur home depot i'm sure u'll find some.

try using a product called a magic eraser several companies make them now I use it on everything and it works wonders or maybe try a product called Awesome you can find it in the Dollar stores ( Dollar Tree, General Dollar, Family Dollar) you can use it straight or dilute it hope this helps

you probably need to use something abrasive like brillo pads or comet cleanser. also, spray on some cleaner and let it soak before you try to clean the dirt.

you can try WD-40 that stuff can get anything off of anything hope this works........
