Hang on, the Holocaust wasn't THAT long ago (there are still people alive who experienced Hitler's death camps) and, in any case, should never ever be forgotten!
And slavery still exists -- what about child labor especially in the so-called Third World, like India and Africa? Or child prostitution and sex tourism, particularly in Asia? Or child pornography right around the world (police just caught a bunch of people in the U.S. and Great Britain)?
Or sex slavery -- former Eastern bloc and Asian women lured to the west with promises of jobs (like cleaners, nannies) only to find their passports "confiscated" (by pimps) and then being forced to work as prostitutes to "earn" their keep (and, supposedly, eventually their passports back)?
Then there are all these ethnic cleansings -- in Rwanda (Hutu and Tutsi) in the former Yugoslavia (Serbs, Croats, Christians, Muslims), the Middle East (Arabs versus Jews, Sunnis versus Shiites).
Any form of torture anywhere is a crime against humanity, so some would argue that what the U.S. government is doing at Guantanamo and around the world to counter and contain "terrorism" constitutes a crime.

The Rwanda genocide 1994, the genocide in Sudan happening right now and the attempted genocide in Yugoslavia in 1997. these would be the most publicized crimes against humanity. another place to check would be to look up the 'international criminal court' and you will find alot more.
