"What one find annoying...another finds endearing" . . . Same here...Your guy does not like to have sex when you are having your period. That doesn't make having sex during that time 'wrong' or you ' odd ' for being fine with it...It simply he does not like it and others do.

Just because he doesn't like that during that time is no reason for him to make statement that anyone who does like that is 'odd'.

When I am in a relationship and am sharing that way with a guy...I personally don't have a problem with having sex during my period. If the guy and I are both in agreement with that...than that is fine. Just be prepared for more of the 'mess'...but if prepared and fine with that...than go for it.

Its not odd that you want to, your just horny as you r normally and it just clashes with your period!

It doesn't mean you cant have sex its just most people choose not to as its messy and use girls r usually not in the mood!

Why don't u suggest doing it in the shower that way you get to have sex and your partner doesn't have to worry about getting covered in blood as it will wash away!

It's gross and in some religions forbidden.
I've also read that you can get infections easier by having "bloody sex". Some studies also suggest a link to cervical cancer. Waiting for your spouse to be clean can also heighten the pleasure at the time.

There is nothing strange abou a guy not wanting to have sex during that time..

Think about it..it is abit differnt and can be somewhat gross..

When he oulls out, he will be coated in blood...that is not always a turnon to a guy!

Some guys are ok with it...some are not..
respect him..leave it out for the week..do something else sexual beside intercourse .

During that "time of the month" my wife and i dont have sex, she takes care of me in other ways. Too us it is just unhealthy and not exactly the cleanest time to do it. I have only done that once in my life when I was a teenager and I wouldnt do it again.

Sex is fine during you period, but not every man is comfortable with it. It's the ancient fear of blood - and man's fear of a creature who can bleed every month and still be strong and healthy; hence the legends around menstruation; ie the curse!
Don't make it an issue; just tell him you'd like lots of cuddling!

I have the opposite problem with my husband. I don't want to during my period and he doesn't mind. I just think that it is because I feel so crappy during those couple of days.

My hubby doesn't mind, it's messier so we take things into the shower or something like that, then end with washing each other off so it's pretty romantic. But when I was dating guys unless we had been together a long time, they didn't like to, too messy, too gross. Usually takes a very serious or special relationship.
