In the 2004 movie, Christine and the Phantom do kiss. The Phantom tells her that she has to choose between staying with Raoul and having him killed, or staying with the Phantom forever and Raoul living. She then crosses to the Phantom and says "Pitiful creature of darknees, what kind of life have you known? God give me courage to show you, you are not alone...." and then proceeds to kiss twice. The Phantom, realizing what has happened, lets Christine and Raoul go. In the book, Christine kisses him on the cheek and then the lips. This thrills him so much that he lets Christine go.

OMG me too!! I continuously concept she must have chosen the Phantom over Raoul. he's this kind of wimp... The Phantom is manly and horny! particular he became a touch loopy... yet each little thing he did, he did for Christine! If it truly is no longer love, then i do not understand what's. i imagine Christine became a touch interested in the Phantom, until eventually she pulled the mask and said his face. human beings could properly be so shallow...

yes they do, at the end, when christine has to choose between the phantom and Raoul. she is going to choose the phantom and kisses him, but then the mob comes, so the phantom says, "take her, forget me, forget all of this, leave me alone, go now, don't let them find you." so she leaves with Raoul.
