Reason I ask is because I'm 22 most of my experience so far consists of retail, customer service, and now administrative/clerical-type duties.

So now I'm looking into doorman work, so I guess I'm gonna have to change my objective? But to what? Right now my object talks about basically taking advantage of my office/organizational/typing skills and using them in a professional environment.

When the super/boss sees that, wouldnt he be like "Ok so why do you wanna be a doorman then?" You know? So how do I incorporate doorman work into all this? My father said I should just use my Actor resume since it has my picture on it and, well you know, the residents probably wouldnt mind a well-presentable face.

But I don't know, what do you guys think?

Tell him you are a people person and you want to give his clients a good first impression of his company. As the doorman you are the first impression people will get. Then when you get the job smile as you open the door and be as helpful as possible. People will know if you really like them or not. No rubber band smiles please.

But you do have experience with customer service, so I would play up that angle. And maybe a letter of recommendation from a former employer stressing your good customer service skills would help. Good luck..
