is their any pill which dosent make you gain weight ?

I'm on Cyclessa and didn't gain weight from it. When I first went on the pill, I was concerned about gaining weight. My doctor told me that with any birth control pill, a woman should not gain more than 5 pounds. If she does, it's not the pill.

It actually makes u gain weight by increasing ur appetite so its not like it will happen without u being aware of it. Just take care to eat healthily and you wont notice any difference.
I was on Cilest and it made my periods more painful. Sometimes condoms are better as u can get all kinds of infections if ur on the pill but not in a relationship. Trust me u will be so angry with urself afterwards if u get anything.

The effects of all OC vary from patient to patient, weight gain is mentioned on the data sheets of all combined and progesterone only pills, so it can occur with all of them.
Your first prescription should be for 3 months supply only. All I find I can do is ensure I weigh each woman at the first consultation and again when I see her in 12 weeks for review. If there has been any significant weight gain it is then picked up quickly and the pill can be changed,
Keep one of the patient leaflets from your pill pack (each new pill) so that you can check the names of the hormones, Sometimes doctors in hurry forget that many pills with different names contain identical hormones. Pill changes of this will not of course help!

I thought weight gain put on by the pill was a personal to how your boby takes it.

yes its called cilest, its a fantastic pill, i have tried many different ones that all made me ill and made me gain weight, i have been on this cilest for 6 yrs now never had a problem

Im on Cilest and it hasnt made my put on weight at all. In fact if your looking to loose weight it helps. Its also great for skin too.
DONT go on Microgynon 30 if you dont want to gain weight.
Its bloated everyone i know to have been on it, including me!

I took cerazette and i didn't gain any, i actually found it really easy to lose weight on it. i was on it for 6 mos and lost 2 stone.

hey, yasmin is pretty good and it stops you from having moodswings too which is ace. i used to be on diannet and that made me put on loads of weight!

im on marvelon and that hasnt but your doctor will prescibe one for you that suits u the best! :-)
